Decarbonization, Trade, and Competitiveness in Troubled Times
On Monday 23 March, the Dublin European Law Institute (DELI) hosted a roundtable discussion on Decarbonization, Trade, and Competitiveness in Troubled Times from 3 pm to 5.00 pm at Europe House, in partnership with the European Parliament Liaison Office in Ireland.
As global trade tensions intensify and security concerns loom large, the European Union faces increasing difficulty in sustaining its leadership in climate action—both domestically and in multilateral fora—while safeguarding its competitiveness. The discussion examined how the EU can reconcile these objectives in an increasingly fragmented and uncertain global environment.
