Tiwaloluwa Onibonoje is a PhD candidate at the School of Law and Government in Dublin City University focused on analyzing the convergence of environmental law, maritime climate governance, and artificial intelligence. His research interests center in particular on the examination of the legal, security, and environmental implications of underwater data centers.

Tiwaloluwa holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Joseph Ayo Babalola University and has pursued a masters degree in law (LLM) from Dublin City University, with specific emphasis on international and climate law alongside preexisting and emerging EU frameworks. Beyond the academic sphere, Tiwaloluwa has contributed in a research assistant role on maritime decarbonization programmes and a transnational EU grant proposal.
